Picnic In The Park 2019

We had another successful Picnic in the Park on 25 July, an annual event that was held this year at Stockwood Park, Luton.

115 guests and 25 volunteers enjoyed the sun and some lovely grub laid on by the Discovery Centre Cafe.

Musicians performed songs ranging from 50s nostalgia to current chart hits, much dancing ensued and some took part in the pony experience provided by Baylands Stables.

“The Young@Heart Cafe is all about providing our guests with new experiences, giving them opportunities to make new friends but mostly to have fun! We usually meet on Wednesday's at the St John’s Parish Centre but it is great to make the most of local facilities and places when we can.”
