A Simply Wonderful Young@Heart Christmas Cafe on Youtube

As we announced earlier in the month we organised our 2020 Christmas concerts for Young@Heart Cafe guests and volunteers on Wednesday 9 December and Wednesday 16 December.

Georgi Barratt joined us on the 9th for an hour-plus of festive songs including a sing-a-long of ‘Silent Night’ (not the easiest thing to do on Zoom but we persevered!) and a ‘12 Days of Christmas’ complete with hand gestures for each of the 12 days.

Guests were ‘spotlighted’ to dance and sing along with Georgi and everyone had a thoroughly Christmas-sy time.

Then, last week, on the 16th Georgi was joined by Neil Richardson for a 90-minute session choc-a-block with festive songs, Christmas Cracker style jokes and plenty of seasonal banter.

And would you Adam and Eve it? We also captured the entire proceedings and uploaded to the Young@Heart Cafe Youtube channel for all our lovely guests and volunteers (and anyone else!) who may’ve missed it to watch at their leisure over the holiday season.

We’d like this opportunity to wish everyone involved with Young@Heart Cafe a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy (and Safe) New Year.
